I’m a nearing 50, mama of 3 children with learning differences and all that goes with it. I was a “professional mom” for 15 years and spent the prime years of my life, supporting and helping my children succeed. Now I contribute as an interventionist working with children who struggle with learning and support parents in similar situations.
Life is good now, but there was a time when I wanted to run away. My youngest and oldest were out of control. Tantrum after tantrum ensued. I felt like a verbally abused mama. My worries and anxiety about my children wreaked havoc on my body and I got sick. Then a bad reaction to antibiotics devasted all my bodily functions. It was a long and arduous journey to healing. I am lucky to be alive.
Long story short, my kids are thriving, my health has improved, and my marriage is happily intact. I discovered a passion for helping those impacted with learning differences and rediscovered my dancing queen in Zumba. I believe in incorporating natural approaches to healing our bodies, health, minds, and family.
I am a Warrior Parent, just like you. My hope is to provide support, connect, and share what I’ve learned to ease your journey. I hope to learn from you too!
